Overview
AllSTEM Connections is looking for a skilled Graphic Designer to support an internal creative team focused on marketing work. This is an 8-month remote contract role aligned to the EST time zone, with pay set at $40 to $43 per hour. A portfolio is required along with the resume.
What You’ll Do
- Design marketing visuals for a range of channels, including print, digital, social media, email, presentations, and video.
- Work closely with creative directors, marketers, writers, and project managers to shape ideas and turn them into finished creative assets.
- Handle several assignments at once, balancing deadlines and priorities while keeping output accurate and polished.
- Prepare files that are ready for production and assist through the final production stage.
- Protect and extend brand guidelines across different formats and platforms.
- Keep up with design trends, new tools, and evolving technology, including AI-based creative solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in graphic design, ideally in an in-house marketing team or agency setting.
- A strong portfolio showing modern design work, editorial layouts, print pieces, digital campaigns, static and animated assets, and visual storytelling.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Hands-on experience with typography, layout composition, and multi-platform design consistency.
- Strong organization and workflow management abilities, with comfort handling files and competing priorities.
Preferred Tools and Experience
- Experience using Figma, Adobe Firefly, Adobe Express, Slate, Asana, or Page Proof is a plus.
- Background in motion graphics, short-form video creation, or AI-enhanced creative production is preferred.
