About the Role

Kforce is partnering with a client in Redmond, WA, to find a talented Graphic Designer for their Content Team. This position involves designing high-quality templates, presentations, documents, and workbooks primarily for PowerPoint, Word, and Excel applications. The ideal candidate merges strong visual design expertise with effective storytelling and practical production abilities, alongside meticulous attention to detail. The designer will produce polished, scalable materials for a diverse customer base while collaborating closely with content leads, fellow designers, and other teams to create modern, accessible, and easy-to-use templates and documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop premium templates for PowerPoint slides, Word documents, and Excel workbooks.
• Create layouts, visual frameworks, and reusable design elements facilitating numerous customer uses.
• Use excellent design judgment to ensure clarity, refinement, accessibility, and easy customization of every template.
• Maintain formatting consistency across typography, spacing, alignment, colors, imagery, tables, charts, and content hierarchies.
• Convert creative briefs and content specifications into customer-ready template designs.
• Assist in template production workflows, including file creation, editing, and quality validation within Microsoft 365 applications.
• Work collaboratively with content, design, and product teams to incorporate feedback and enhance template quality.
• Ensure superior file organization, usability, accessibility, and consistent cross-platform presentation standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 4 years of professional graphic design experience, supported by a portfolio evidencing strong skills in layout, typography, composition, and visual design.
• Proven experience creating professional content using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Proficient in design applications such as Figma and/or Adobe Creative Cloud; familiarity with AI design tools like Microsoft Copilot or equivalents.
• Solid knowledge of template creation, presentation design, document layout, and workbook formatting techniques.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Effective visual, written, and verbal communication capabilities.
• Ability to take creative direction, interpret briefs accurately, and implement feedback adeptly.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while upholding quality and uniformity.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay band is an estimated range reflecting likely salary levels for this role, considering education, experience, certifications, performance, and other factors. Compensation may vary above or below this range as deemed appropriate. Employees enrolled in this role are entitled to comprehensive benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance plans, Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), 401(k) retirement plans, and life, disability, and accidental death & dismemberment insurance where eligible.

Salaried employees receive paid time off; hourly workers do not qualify for paid time off unless legally required. Hourly employees on Service Contract Act assignments qualify for paid sick leave.

Pay is not deemed compensation until earned and vested. Availability and amount of pay reside solely within Kforce's discretion unless formally paid.

Bonus payments, commissions, or other incentives are not applicable to this position.
