Rangiora Medical Centre invites applications for a dedicated General Practitioner to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team in Rangiora, North Canterbury. This role offers full-time or part-time hours in a state-of-the-art, soon-to-be-opened facility. Our practice is focused on delivering exceptional primary healthcare and actively shaping the future of health services within our vibrant community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive healthcare to both registered and walk-in patients covering acute, chronic, and preventative needs.
• Collaborate closely with nurses, administrative and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement efforts and adhere to clinical best practices.
• Engage in multidisciplinary care planning and decision-making to enhance patient outcomes.
• Drive equitable health outcomes and innovate approaches to primary care delivery.

Requirements

• Vocational registration as a General Practitioner or eligibility for New Zealand vocational registration.
• Current registration and practicing certificate from the Medical Council of New Zealand.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships with patients.
• A firm commitment to patient-centered care, preventative health, and community wellbeing.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative work ethic and excellent clinical judgment.
• Dedication to promoting health equity and continuous professional development.
