General Manager - Clear Aligners

About Dandy and the Role

Dandy is revolutionizing the dental industry, valued at over $400 billion, through innovative technology solutions. Supported by leading venture capital firms, the company aims to modernize dental practices globally by building an integrated operating system that empowers clinicians and their teams. As Dandy scales internationally, it seeks a General Manager to lead its Clear Aligners business, a key segment within dental health with substantial market presence. This position requires managing all aspects of the Clear Aligners business to transition from a competitive contender to a market leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage closely with customers by visiting offices, speaking with doctors, listening to sales discussions, and reviewing customer support interactions to identify growth opportunities and improve offerings.
• Leverage customer insights to inform strategic, commercial decisions, and directly impact product development roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.
• Establish and execute the growth plan for Clear Aligners, targeting different segments such as solo practices, group practices, and DSOs, including refining pricing, packaging, and competitive positioning.
• Collaborate with Sales and Post Sales teams to optimize marketing funnels, develop effective sales materials, and serve as the commercial advocate for the product.
• Develop and expand enterprise sales channels focused on DSOs by building strong relationships with procurement, clinical, and executive leaders, and crafting customized value propositions versus competitors.
• Formulate and drive long-term product strategies in partnership with engineering and clinical teams, synthesizing customer feedback and market intelligence to maintain competitive advantage.
• Own full profit and loss responsibilities for the Clear Aligners business, balancing revenue growth, retention, and unit economics, setting budgets, and addressing operational challenges affecting delivery and customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

• At least 7 years of experience in roles involving strategy, growth, go-to-market, or general management, ideally combining exposure to fast-growing startups and complex analytical environments such as consulting, investment banking, or established tech companies.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth with direct ownership or leadership in go-to-market initiatives.
• Strong commercial acumen, capable of creating persuasive sales narratives, conducting customer discovery, and successfully managing large enterprise deals.
• Analytical and strategic thinker who can switch seamlessly between high-level strategy creation and detailed metrics analysis.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills to align and collaborate with stakeholders across operations, sales, finance, and other departments.
• A forward-looking mindset focused on achieving market share and category leadership rather than solely short-term improvements.
