Overview and Responsibilities

This role involves directing operations and manufacturing functions for an assigned TTM Division. The position encompasses direct leadership over manufacturing, engineering, quality, facilities, purchasing, customer service, and production control teams. You will be accountable for developing and executing effective manufacturing strategies that meet or exceed production goals, controlling costs, ensuring quality, and maintaining on-time delivery. The role demands substantial creativity and flexibility and serves as a liaison with TTM customers and facilities across North America and Asia Pacific.

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all manufacturing activities within the division.
• Elevate manufacturing capabilities by implementing world-class systems and strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement in cost efficiency, product quality, and delivery timelines.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to cost and quality aligned with facility objectives.
• Develop manufacturing and sourcing plans, lead capital and project planning, and execute these initiatives.
• Manage division budget, control costs, and optimize production efficiency.
• Create comprehensive reports, analyze production outcomes, and recommend strategic actions for divisional success.
• Build and mentor a results-driven team fostering leadership and accountability.
• Promote a workplace culture empowering employees to make decisions and be responsible for outcomes.
• Continuously enhance productivity measured by output relative to material, labor, and overhead inputs.

Knowledge and Skills

• Superior communication and management abilities to quickly evaluate operations, identify core strengths, and implement effective manufacturing strategies.
• Proficiency in optimizing asset utilization to maximize returns.
• Experience developing self-reliant teams delivering exceptional customer service encompassing on-time delivery, quality, cycle time, and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to develop innovative solutions and see projects through to completion.
• Capability to recommend and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency.
• Advanced mathematical skills sufficient to grasp financial, engineering, and production aspects.
• Effective verbal communication skills for telephone and group interactions.
• Competency in presenting, negotiating, and exchanging accurate information in meetings.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of senior leadership or General Manager experience in a manufacturing environment, including successful organizational change management.
• Strong business and technical expertise.
• Preferably experience in the printed circuit board industry or related technology fields.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and systems.

Estimated annual base salary range in Canadian dollars: 160369 to 297827.
