About the Role
This is a full-time, fully remote publicist position with Baden Bower, a global PR agency established in 2018. The company has secured more than 25,000 article placements for over 3,500 clients across outlets such as Forbes, Entrepreneur, Rolling Stone, Vogue, and Apple News.
Unlike a traditional PR agency, Baden Bower works on a placement-or-refund model backed by long-standing commercial relationships with 700+ publications. That removes much of the usual cold-pitching frustration for publicists and gives clients a clear outcome: if coverage is promised, it is delivered.
What the Job Involves
You will manage a client portfolio from start to finish. Incoming warm leads will already be booked into your Zoom calendar, so no cold outreach is needed. During client calls, you will assess their PR needs, shape an appropriate strategy, and prepare the scope and pricing in HubSpot. After the client signs on, you will take ownership of the account, draft feature stories and press releases, coordinate placements with publication partners, and maintain the relationship through regular check-ins, renewals, and growth opportunities.
The role combines responsibilities that are often divided among account executives, writers, and client services teams. Here, one person handles the entire client journey, giving you direct ownership of results and rewarding you across the full relationship.
Ideal Background
This role suits publicists or PR account managers who are strong writers as well as communicators. You should be able to produce feature-level copy under tight deadlines and provide writing samples to support your application. A commercial mindset is important because you will be expected to scope, price, and close your own engagements, so consultative selling experience is a plus. Strong spoken and written English, confidence on video calls, and good organisation are all important for success.
