Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled mid-level Frontend Developer to join our team as a contract freelancer. This position suits individuals who thrive in dynamic settings, enjoy teamwork across diverse disciplines, and can swiftly integrate into a well-established development group.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve sophisticated React-based web applications.
• Create responsive, accessible, and efficient user interfaces.
• Collaborate extensively with designers, back-end engineers, Unreal Engine developers, and project management personnel.
• Integrate frontend components with RESTful APIs and existing backend services.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and scalable code adhering to industry best practices.
• Engage in code reviews and actively participate in technical team discussions.
• Consistently deliver high-quality outcomes while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Candidate Profile

• At least 5 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Background in fast-paced agency, studio, or product development environments.
• Ability to quickly understand and work within existing codebases.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive and self-driven, capable of working independently in a distributed team setup.
• Genuine enthusiasm for creating refined digital user experiences.

Essential Skills

• Robust commercial experience using React.
• Proficient with HTML5, CSS3, and preprocessors such as SASS/LESS or CSS-in-JS techniques.
• Strong JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript expertise.
• Experience with Git version control and contemporary frontend tools like npm and Vite/Webpack.
• Skilled in building responsive, mobile-first web applications.
• Familiarity with integrating frontend components with RESTful APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Web Components.
• Experience working within Agile development teams.
• Exposure to design systems or reusable component libraries.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and frontend performance optimization.
• Experience with 3D, WebGL, or interactive digital technologies.
• Some familiarity with Unreal Engine workflows is advantageous.
