Role Overview

Altermed RCM is hiring freight brokers for its US logistics operations. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Mohali, Punjab, with night shifts. The company is running a bulk hiring drive with more than 40 openings. Candidates with 0 to 3 years of experience in freight broking, logistics, or sales are encouraged to apply.

What the Role Involves

• Identify, onboard, and manage dependable carriers for freight movement.
• Work with shippers and carriers to secure competitive freight pricing.
• Arrange loads and oversee the complete shipment journey from pickup to final delivery.
• Track shipments closely and help maintain timely pickups and deliveries.
• Improve profit margins through smart pricing and effective negotiation.
• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with carriers and clients.
• Resolve shipment issues such as delays, detention, and layovers.
• Keep records accurate and ensure all documentation remains compliant.

Skills and Working Style

• Strong spoken and written English communication.
• Confident negotiation and sales ability.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving, demanding environment.
• Basic familiarity with TMS software and load boards such as DAT and Truckstop.
• Good coordination and a practical problem-solving approach.

Compensation and Perks

The CTC is INR 15,000 to INR 30,000, along with high performance-based incentives. Employees will also receive a free cab for pick-up and drop-off, plus meals.
