Job Responsibilities

• Oversee electricians and helpers working on electrical installations for HVAC systems.
• Ensure correct installation of power and control cables, conduits, cable trays, isolators, starters, and junction boxes associated with HVAC.
• Lead cable pulling, glanding, termination, and connections for HVAC-related electrical components.
• Confirm accurate termination of power supply wiring, control cables, sensors, actuators, and field devices.
• Collaborate with HVAC technicians, Building Management Systems teams, and other disciplines for proper equipment connection and testing.
• Provide assistance in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting HVAC electrical systems.
• Support functional testing of equipment like motors, fans, pumps, starters, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and control panels.
• Prepare and communicate daily progress reports including manpower, materials, and site challenges to the HVAC/Electrical Supervisor.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols including permit-to-work and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
• Organize toolbox talks and enforce proper use of personal protective equipment and electrical safety measures.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work environments.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
• Have 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in HVAC electrical installation projects.
• Experience with Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial, or EPC HVAC projects is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of HVAC electrical installations including control wiring.
• Familiarity with HVAC equipment starters, VFDs, Motor Control Centers (MCC), and isolators.
