Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Food Server at Cipriani in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on creating a refined dining experience by greeting guests warmly, explaining menu offerings, answering questions about food and drinks, and offering suggestions that match the brand’s elevated service style.
Core Duties
You will be responsible for taking orders accurately, working closely with kitchen and bar teams, delivering food and beverages, and making sure tables are prepared, cleared, and reset efficiently. The role also requires keeping an eye on guest satisfaction, responding to special requests, and handling concerns quickly and professionally.
Service Standards
The Food Server must consistently follow hygiene, safety, and presentation expectations while helping maintain a polished, respectful, and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Qualifications
- Excellent guest-handling skills with a strong emphasis on courtesy, attentiveness, and professionalism.
- Working knowledge of food and beverage service, including menu items, ingredients, and standard serving practices.
- Clear communication ability for interacting with guests, teammates, and supervisors in a busy setting.
- Basic understanding of food preparation or kitchen processes to confidently explain dishes.
- Experience in fine-dining or upscale hospitality environments is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable standing for long periods, carrying trays safely, and working varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong eye for detail, a cooperative mindset, and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- English fluency is required; other languages will be considered an added advantage.
