Role Overview

We are seeking a Finance Head based at our Noida office to oversee and manage the entire financial function for the company. As the cornerstone of our financial operations, you will be responsible for accounting, financial reporting, cash flow oversight, compliance, and close collaboration with our US leadership and investors. This is a senior, individual contributor position responsible for managing both US and Indian financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the company’s profit and loss account, balance sheet, and cash flow exclusively in USD.
• Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the US leadership team and investors.
• Handle all accounting functions within QuickBooks, including journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end closing procedures.
• Ensure strict compliance with US GAAP standards, coordinating activities with US-based CPA firms and auditors.
• Manage multi-currency transaction processing and monitor foreign exchange risk exposure.
• Oversee Stripe payment processing including reconciliations, payouts, and dispute handling.
• Provide support for fundraising efforts, investor due diligence, and manage the company’s cap table.
• Create and maintain budgets, financial models, and forecasts to support business planning.
• Ensure compliance of Indian entity operations such as payroll, provident fund procedures, and local vendor payments.
• Serve as the primary liaison between India-based teams and US stakeholders on financial matters.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess 5 to 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally working with US-based companies or clients.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification preferred; alternatively, CPA or MBA in Finance accepted.
• Demonstrated expert-level skills in QuickBooks, with this being the main financial accounting system used.
• Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP and demonstrated experience preparing USD-based financial reports.
• Experience handling payment platforms like Stripe, including reconciliation and dispute resolution.
• Background supporting fundraising rounds, investor relations, and financial due diligence processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable liaising directly with US leadership and investors.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment working closely with a US-based team.
