The opportunity
As part of the N2P Telco team, this position contributes to improving existing NBN infrastructure and expanding ultrafast speeds across up to 75% of the current fixed-line footprint. The company is seeking a Field Supervisor to join its collaborative team in the Hobart area of Tasmania.
This role involves coordinating and guiding multiple trade-based personnel while supporting project delivery activities.
Key duties
- Direct and coordinate civil and haul trades to support construction work.
- Check that work complies with client standards and project expectations.
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed consistently.
- Plan and define site activities so work is completed efficiently and within budget.
About you
The ideal candidate is motivated, results-oriented, and safety focused, with the ability to build strong working relationships within the project team.
Requirements and experience
- Previous experience in a civil supervisory role.
- Strong leadership capability.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A qualification in a related field is preferred.
- A trade qualification or equivalent relevant experience is preferred.
