Role Overview

The Field Recruiter at Nello plays a vital role in grassroots recruitment by engaging with local communities to identify and onboard qualified caregivers. The position involves extensive field activities to source live-in nannies and build trusted relationships to expand the company's caregiver pool.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face outreach to recruit live-in caregivers throughout Bangalore.
• Establish and nurture community connections by organizing stalls, distributing flyers, and collaborating with NGOs and community influencers.
• Leverage existing networks to gather candidate referrals and pursue grassroots recruitment strategies.
• Identify fresh sourcing avenues to enhance the caregiver recruitment funnel.
• Perform preliminary screening of candidates and manage collection of necessary documentation.
• Coordinate with the Operations department to streamline onboarding and maintain accurate recruitment records.
• Contribute to building Nello's field recruitment framework, developing scalable sourcing channels and community ties.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of experience in blue-collar recruitment, field sourcing, or community-based hiring.
• Preferably recruited domestic workers, caregivers, housekeeping personnel, delivery agents, or other frontline workers before.
• Possess strong local community ties, referral networks, or connections with community leaders.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management capabilities.
• Willing and able to travel extensively within Bangalore for field work.
• Proficient in Hindi and English; knowledge of Kannada is a significant advantage.
• Self-driven, innovative, and comfortable thriving in a dynamic startup setting.
