Experienced Accommodation Assistant

Role overview

Sheraton Athlone Hotel is looking for an Experienced Accommodation Assistant to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests. This role supports the overall housekeeping operation across guest rooms and shared areas in a premium hotel setting.

What you will do

• Prepare guest bedrooms and bathrooms to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
• Vacuum bedrooms and corridors thoroughly
• Replace bed linen, towels, and guest amenities according to the hotel's standards
• Follow the correct process for handling lost property
• Respond to guest requests quickly and efficiently
• Work in line with health and safety requirements at all times
• Take part in daily training and learning activities to build new skills

What the hotel is looking for

• Previous experience in hotel cleaning or housekeeping is preferred
• A friendly, professional manner and a positive, proactive attitude
• Strong commitment to high-quality service
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Well-groomed personal presentation and professional behaviour
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
