About the Company and Role

The Resource Management team in Deloitte India plays a vital role in optimizing project staffing by matching the right practitioners to the right client engagements, enhancing project efficiency through scheduling, planning, and monitoring resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources by strategically deploying staff across projects.
- Maintain timely and accurate updates of resource schedules within internal management tools.
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts promptly to maintain project timelines.
- Track business demands and coordinate with various teams to meet requirements within set deadlines.
- Manage bench resources effectively, including resource rotations to boost capability development.
- Collaborate with other resource managers across business units and locations for cross-deployments.
- Prepare, maintain, and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and dashboards for leadership insights.
- Proficiently handle data management, including skill and CV databases, and ensure compliance adherence.
- Monitor budget versus scheduled and actual resource utilization; investigate variances and recommend corrective measures.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, maintaining high accuracy and prioritizing tasks with a proactive approach.
- Support team members to meet KPIs and SLAs consistently.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- MBA preferred.
- For Analyst/Senior Analyst roles: 2-4 years’ experience in resource deployment, scheduling, reporting, stakeholder engagement.
- For Consultant and above: 4-6 years with extensive experience in resource management, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management.
- Experience working in a professional services or consulting environment is desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage partners, managers, and consulting staff.
- Advanced analytical skills to interpret business needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Ability to manage sensitive information and handle escalations professionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (pivot tables, lookups, charts, formulas), Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- High attention to detail, positive attitude, and ability to perform well under pressure.
- Team-oriented, offering support to colleagues as needed.
