Role Overview
This position of Executive/Senior Executive in Payroll is a permanent full-time role located at the Vikhroli Head Office. The role is integral to handling payroll operations with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly process employee payroll by accurately calculating salaries, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and managing final settlements for resigning staff.
- Maintain up-to-date and precise payroll records including onboarding, departures, salary adjustments, benefits, and attendance data.
- Ensure strict compliance with applicable legal regulations and taxation requirements related to payroll.
- Prepare payroll tax filings and reports punctually and accurately.
- Investigate and promptly resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll inquiries professionally.
- Generate reports for management review, budgeting, and audits as necessary.
- Analyze payroll data and provide relevant insights.
- Maintain confidentiality and secure organization of payroll records.
- Regularly assess payroll processes to identify and implement improvements enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll accounting, regulatory frameworks, taxation laws, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in payroll management software and strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in data management and calculation tasks.
- Effective organizational and prioritization abilities to manage time and tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate within teams.
- Capable of working independently and managing responsibilities autonomously.
- Five to ten years of relevant professional experience specifically in payroll processing roles.
