About Metro Community Housing and Role Overview

Currently, the organisation is seeking an Executive Assistant to the CEO located in Newtown, Sydney, working 28-35 hours weekly on a 9-day fortnight schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the CEO's calendar, inbox, and daily priorities.
- Organise meetings by setting agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Assist in the preparation of Board papers and governance-related tasks.
- Serve as a crucial communication bridge between the CEO and both internal team members and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, events, and activities involving stakeholders.
- Provide support for HR administrative duties such as onboarding, HRIS maintenance, compliance, and reporting.
- Liaise with external service providers including IT, HR partners, and the Company Secretary.
- Contribute to key projects and organisational initiatives.
- Promote continuous improvements in systems and operational workflows.
- Lead and provide guidance to the Reception & Administration Officer.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives, preferably in not-for-profit, housing, or community services sectors.
- Exceptional organisational skills paired with effective time management abilities.
- Keen attention to detail with capacity to manage multiple competing demands.
- Excellent communication skills suited for engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on finding solutions.
- Maintains discretion and professionalism when handling confidential or sensitive information.
