Events Executive

Job Overview

The Events Executive is tasked with orchestrating, coordinating, and implementing events and group functions within the property. They ensure excellent service delivery and memorable experiences for guests. Acting as the main point of contact for clients and hotel teams, this position supports every phase of event management, from planning through post-event activities, while upholding Marriott’s quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• At least one year of relevant experience in event management, banquet operations, sales, guest relations, or a related area within the hospitality sector.

Primary Duties

• Manage event logistics from the initial inquiry stage through to final execution.
• Prepare detailed event orders and relay them to the appropriate hotel departments.
• Conduct site visits and assist with sales efforts related to events.
• Oversee event setups to ensure seamless execution.
• Coordinate collaboration among Banquets, Culinary, Engineering, Housekeeping, and Front Office teams.
• Promptly address operational challenges and client needs during events.
• Foster and maintain robust client relationships through professional communication.
• Manage guest inquiries and effectively resolve any issues to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Accurately maintain event documentation including records, reports, and billing information.
• Enforce adherence to hotel policies, safety protocols, and brand standards.
• Support forecasting, reporting, and conduct follow-up activities after events.
• Engage in teamwork with all hotel departments to meet event objectives.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
