Role Overview

Based at our Poole office, you will be part of the Pre-Construction Team, responsible for handling all pricing enquiries for projects up to £10 million.

Key Duties

• Collaborate with the Pre-Construction Manager and fellow Estimators to prepare comprehensive tender returns.
• Manage enquiries from minor works to high-value projects, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Utilize the Causeway estimating software to develop detailed cost estimates usable throughout project execution.
• Conduct site visits, survey works, and generate priced schedules aligned with client requirements and constraints.
• Present tender bids for adjudication processes effectively.
• Create RFIs based on tender information for client professional teams.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in the construction industry.
• Holding an HNC or higher qualification is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Capability to manage multiple tenders concurrently in a busy work environment.
• Self-motivated, dynamic, and innovative with the ability to take initiative.
• Proficient in interpreting 2D and 3D drawings.
• Solid understanding of SMM7 and NRM costing methods.
• Familiarity with Causeway estimating software and Microsoft Project or similar tools is advantageous.
