  • Stay familiar with SEC filings, earnings transcripts, patent databases, and industry reports from sources like Gartner and IDC to identify inflection points before consensus.

Collaboration and Process Improvement

  • Partner with traders to identify investment and trading opportunities and evaluate associated risks.
  • Provide timely market intelligence supporting portfolio construction and risk management.
  • Contribute to development of research and analytical tools enhancing the firm's technology investment processes.
  • Improve research efficiency through IT tools, automation, and enhanced knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in equity research with at least 3 years on the buy-side in a senior capacity.
  • In-depth expertise covering small and mid-cap technology sectors including deep tech, semiconductors, and software infrastructure.
  • Required Series 63 and Series 7 licenses; CFA designation preferred but not mandatory.
  • Preferred advanced or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science or related technical domain; business/finance degrees considered with strong technical fluency.
  • Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel, SQL, and Bloomberg Terminal skills; familiarity with Python or similar tools advantageous.
