Equipment Associate Engineer

Job Overview

This position involves supporting manufacturing equipment within the Wafer Fabrication plants located at Senoko or Depot Road. The role centers around ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance and diagnose equipment issues to reduce production interruptions.
• Proactively identify areas for enhancement and optimize tool availability while managing costs efficiently.
• Innovate and implement solutions independently to resolve technical problems creatively.
• Coordinate with engineers and external suppliers to solve complex challenges and provide mentoring to junior engineers.
• Ensure thorough completion of all related documentation and reporting tasks.
• Engage actively in continuous improvement initiatives and professional skill development.
• Perform as an effective team member, balancing multiple priorities and tasks effectively.
• Participate as a core member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), uphold safety standards, and maintain ownership of equipment and tools.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in production, office, and maintenance areas.

Required Experience

• Capability in troubleshooting wafer fabrication process equipment, such as photolithography systems, implanters, CVD tools, and stepper machines.
• Experience working with various high vacuum systems within cleanroom environments.

Educational Qualification

A minimum of a Diploma or professional certification in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering is required.
