Overview
This role is designed for an individual ready to embark on a career in project engineering, focusing on management within cost, technical, and scheduling domains. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, STEM, or closely related fields from an accredited institution and demonstrate leadership capabilities in guiding teams or groups towards project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee projects to ensure adherence to cost, technical performance, and schedule requirements consistent with program directives and Navy Program instructions.
- Apply and deepen understanding of Earned Value Management, Integrated Master Schedules, Logistics, and Risk Management methodologies.
- Communicate project progress and critical issues effectively to Program Managers and Executive Leadership with comprehensive status updates.
- Travel within the continental U.S. and internationally is expected to be minimal, under 10% of the time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business, Project Management, STEM, or related disciplines.
- Proven experience in leadership roles within project or team environments.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance; U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
Desired Skills

- Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
- Familiarity with fundamental Project Management principles and basic Risk Management concepts.
- Experience with Microsoft Project or analogous scheduling software applications.
