Entertainment Costuming - Part Time

About the Role

Join the vibrant team at Disneyland® Resort as an Entertainment Costuming Cast Member where you will bring magic to life by supporting performers in their costume needs. This role is integral to creating unforgettable experiences for guests by ensuring performers are properly dressed and ready to dazzle.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist performers with dressing and undressing while managing and maintaining their costumes.
• Guarantee each costume is clean, show-ready, and repaired when necessary for daily use.
• Provide exceptional service to a diverse cast in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
• Identify and solve costume and performer-related issues promptly.
• Assemble various costumes ensuring uniformity and consistency in appearance.
• Maintain an orderly and clean workspace.
• Collect and handle soiled costumes following each performance.
• Perform physical activities including walking, standing, climbing tall ladders, and working at heights.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand for extended periods of two to three hours and lift or push costume inventory weighing 25 pounds or more.
• Comfortable working at elevated heights.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks while ensuring quality.
• Availability to work Friday evenings from 5 p.m. onward, full weekends, and during peak holiday seasons including Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Experience in costume issue or repair within theatrical or show production environments, including college or paid theatre.
• Flexible to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Availability for work seven days a week is preferred.

Additional Information

Disneyland® Resort operates 24/7 throughout the year with shifts potentially starting as early as 5:00 a.m. or ending in the early morning hours. Overnight shifts may be assigned. Scheduling is based on seniority.

Compensation for this position in California is $22.50 per hour. Select benefits may be offered, including medical and financial plans.
