Overview

Join us at Workways Australia as an Employment Coach based in Capalaba, Queensland. This full-time permanent position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide exceptional customer service by guiding clients toward effective interventions to enhance their job readiness and secure sustainable employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure clients comprehend program requirements and actively participate in employment or preparatory activities.
  • Identify client-specific employment barriers and coordinate appropriate support services to improve job prospects, including boosting self-esteem and facilitating access to vocational and non-vocational resources.
  • Facilitate group sessions aimed at enhancing clients' non-vocational skills and job search capabilities.
  • Establish and maintain collaborations with community organizations to provide comprehensive client support.
  • Regularly assess and tailor client plans to fit their unique circumstances.
  • Conduct employer outreach through reverse marketing calls to assist clients in securing employment placements.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong commitment to community engagement and connecting individuals with opportunities.
  • Results-oriented with a strong focus on people.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adept at negotiation and stakeholder liaison.
  • Professional and customer-service driven approach, including facilitating small group sessions.
  • Proficient in Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working within compliance-driven environments.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Employment Services or related fields preferred.
  • Valid driver's license; ability to clear Police Check and Working with Children Check or equivalent is mandatory prior to employment.
