Role Overview

The ELV Estimation/Presales Engineer position is a full-time role based onsite in Doha, Qatar. The core responsibilities involve preparing detailed technical and commercial proposals, conducting precise ELV system cost estimations, and analyzing tender documentation, drawings, and specifications. The engineer works closely with sales teams to design integrated ELV solutions and develop value-engineered proposals that satisfy client requirements and project standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive site surveys to assess project needs.
• Review and interpret tender documents, drawings, and specifications for accurate estimation.
• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to create solution designs and integration plans.
• Generate detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimations using appropriate tools.
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to clients.
• Respond effectively to technical inquiries and provide necessary clarifications.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure alignment and feasibility.
• Maintain precise documentation and ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Support presales activities throughout the project lifecycle, including client demonstrations and presentations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven skills in presales activities, proposal development, and client engagement.
• Strong technical support capabilities including system design assistance and documentation.
• Expertise in integration and security with hands-on experience in ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarms, networking, and building automation.
• Analytical skills to read drawings accurately and prepare estimations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience working on ELV, security, or fire protection projects within the GCC region is advantageous.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across multiple bids while meeting strict deadlines.
