Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Electronics Operator to enhance our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate SMT production machinery with efficiency.
• Perform through-hole soldering adhering to IPC standards.
• Use selective soldering and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment.
• Conduct PCBA assembly, inspection, and rework maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ensure accuracy by self-verifying tasks and minimizing mistakes.
• Manage component and material replenishment smoothly during job changeovers.
• Log task durations accurately against Production Orders.
• Maintain a tidy, organized, and safe workspace.
• Engage in minor maintenance activities when needed.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Familiarity or experience with electronic components and assembly.
• Background in electronics manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Excellent manual dexterity to handle small and delicate parts.
• Good mechanical skills and confidence in using tools and fixtures.
• Strong attention to detail prioritizing quality and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and consistently produce output.
• Preferred experience in assembly or inspection using a microscope.

• Hourly Rate: $27.97 AUD
