Role Overview

Our Christchurch branch is seeking a dependable and confident driver to join our team. This position involves active, hands-on work delivering products to sites, assisting with branch duties, and providing outstanding service to customers. It’s an ideal opportunity for plumbers, tradies, or individuals with trade experience who want to remain connected to the industry while transitioning out of tool-based roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport goods to construction sites, building strong connections with customers.
• Assist with receiving goods, order picking and packing, shelving, and stock cycle counts in the branch.
• Support various branch activities as required, contributing to team success.

Qualifications and Skills

• Hold a full and clean New Zealand driver's license.
• Good physical condition to handle lifting up to 20 kg.
• Knowledge of the Christchurch and Canterbury regions.
• Customer service focus, especially with trade clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Adaptability and foresight to manage unforeseen challenges.
• Effective time management and logical problem-solving under pressure.

Employment Details and Culture

This permanent full-time role involves working 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Plumbing World fosters a customer-first culture where every team member plays a part in ensuring customers are supported promptly and effectively, especially during early trade counter hours.
