Job description
Role Overview
Become a valuable part of a leading global pizza brand by joining as a Dough Production Worker. This role involves manufacturing and processing pizza dough while rotating through several key production positions throughout each shift.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare the production area at the start of shifts, including sanitizing lines, calibrating scales and thermometers, and gathering ingredients as per batch recipes.
- Mix and batch dough accurately, ensuring proper delivery into the rounder machine and maintaining accurate batch records and proofing logs.
- Remove dough balls from conveyor belts and arrange them into trays using templates, performing weight checks for quality control periodically.
- Stack and prepare filled dough trays for shipment by organizing them on dollies and managing their temperature in coolers as required.
- Manage returned dough trays by scraping, soaking to remove dried dough, removing dough tags, and transporting trays for washing.
- Operate and monitor the tray washing machine ensuring optimal water pressure, temperature, and detergent levels.
- Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble production equipment including dividers, mixers, and belts following company sanitation protocols and maintain cleaning logs.
- Perform general cleaning tasks in the production area such as cleaning bins, sweeping floors, washing walls, and emptying waste containers.
- Support additional production and warehouse activities like tray washing, dough placing, stacking, and receiving as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum education requirement of a High School Diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience in production or manufacturing settings.
- Capable of working flexible shifts across any hours of the day and all days of the week.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, balance on ladders or platforms, and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Must be comfortable working in variable temperature environments with exposure to loud machinery and vibration from power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret various production-related instruments and maintain strong attention to detail.
Work Schedule and Compensation
- Regular scheduled shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Competitive pay at $23.00 per hour.
