About the Role
Our client, an established multinational corporation, is expanding its regional commercial team and is looking for a Distributor Manager based in Singapore to oversee its distributor network across the Asia Pacific region. The role focuses on strategic development and engagement with distribution partners to drive channel growth.
Key Responsibilities
The Distributor Manager will take ownership of the entire distributor lifecycle throughout APAC. This includes identifying potential new distributors, onboarding them, enhancing existing partnerships, and ensuring the sustained success of distribution channels. The role involves setting clear performance objectives, evaluating distributor performance, and launching initiatives designed to boost capabilities and business outcomes. The manager will collaborate closely with local sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to coordinate partner enablement programs, support product launches and commercial strategies, and nurture trusted relationships with key distributor stakeholders. Additionally, the manager is tasked with analyzing market trends, preparing detailed channel performance reports, and advising on strategies to grow the distributor network across the region.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields, along with at least five years' experience managing distributors across various markets. While experience within the food industry is a plus, professionals with robust distributor management experience from other sectors are welcome to apply. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong relationship management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across different functions. They should be commercially savvy, self-driven, and adept at handling multiple priorities independently.
