Job Overview
The Director, Organizational Development, reporting to the VP of Organizational Development, will play a pivotal role in advancing LS&Co.'s organizational and change management capabilities. This senior leadership position is responsible for leading critical initiatives and building frameworks, processes, and tools that foster long-term organizational success in a complex global setting. The role involves strategic planning and hands-on execution in collaboration with HR Business Partners, senior management, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the VP of OD to enhance methodologies, frameworks, and tools that support consistent and scalable organizational development.
- Work alongside HRBPs and business leaders to evaluate organizational effectiveness and drive design projects aligning structures and skills with business goals.
- Aid in developing governance models, decision-making frameworks, and operational practices to increase clarity and organizational efficiency.
- Convert business challenges and organizational insights into actionable recommendations, robust business cases, and practical implementation strategies.
- Design and facilitate leadership alignment meetings, team effectiveness sessions, and organizational diagnostics to promote collaboration and smooth change adoption.
- Partner with leadership and HR to manage the people impact resulting from organizational shifts such as team changes and restructuring.
- Assess the effectiveness of organizational development initiatives continuously through data, feedback, and evaluations to improve programs.
- Lead without direct reports, fostering influence through partnership and collaboration.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Business, Human Resources, or related fields; advanced degrees are preferred.
- Over 8 years of relevant experience in organizational development, change management, organizational design, or related disciplines, especially in supporting large-scale transformations.
- Proven expertise in creating or enhancing OD and change management frameworks, governance, and operating models.
- Strong command of OD and change management approaches applicable within matrixed, global environments.
- Ability to influence and advise leaders at various organizational levels with excellent facilitation skills supporting leadership teams and group dynamics.
- Track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from diagnosis to implementation in multinational organizations.
- Experience integrating change management with learning & development, communications, talent management, and HR functions.
- Cultural sensitivity and experience working across diverse global teams.
- Background experience in retail, consumer goods, or consulting is beneficial.
- Familiarity with assessment tools like Hogan, MBTI, DiSC, or equivalents to facilitate team effectiveness.
- A keen interest in leveraging automation, AI, and emerging technologies to evolve organizational development and change management practices.

Compensation and Benefits
This remote position, based in the United States, offers a salary range from $148,600 to $245,400 annually, with the final salary contingent upon factors like education, qualifications, and performance.
