Designer, Textiles and Graphics

About the Role

The Designer specializing in Textiles and Graphics will merge expertise in textile, print, and graphic design with a strong understanding of luxury fashion. This role demands creating sophisticated prints and visual designs that align with Burberry's signature style and heritage. The position requires not only creative talent but also impeccable organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and develop new design concepts for the collections.
• Create and deliver high-quality, original prints and artworks using various techniques and computer software with a polished finish.
• Push design concepts creatively to solidify Burberry's visual identity.
• Adopt a customer-centric mindset to generate ideas that translate effectively into Burberry products.
• Collaborate extensively with cross-functional groups, including Runway and Collections teams for Men’s and Women’s wear.
• Manage multiple briefs efficiently, ensuring completion within expected timeframes.
• Take responsibility for meeting project deadlines and adhering to timelines.
• Engage and coordinate with other relevant internal teams as necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Textile Design, Graphic Design, or Illustration.
• Exceptional creative thinking and visionary capabilities.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong illustration and drawing skills.
• Understanding of woven and jersey textile materials, along with their production techniques and processes.
• Experience within the luxury fashion sector is advantageous.
