Role Overview

WSP in the Middle East is seeking to hire an Interface and Stakeholder Manager for Aviation Projects to be based in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will oversee coordination between all aviation-related stakeholders, including governmental agencies, airport operators, contractors, consultants, utility providers, and internal technical teams. The position demands effective communication, management of interface challenges, and the implementation of stakeholder engagement strategies to smooth project delivery within a demanding aviation environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all interface matters among aviation stakeholders such as government bodies, airport operators, contractors, and consultants.
  • Ensure robust communication channels are in place for efficient collaboration between all involved parties.
  • Identify, monitor, and resolve interface concerns impacting project timelines, technical outputs, or progress.
  • Create and execute structured Stakeholder Engagement Plans to align efforts throughout project phases.
  • Facilitate interface workshops, coordination meetings, and technical dialogues among project participants.
  • Maintain liaison with regulatory authorities and airport operators to ensure compliance with aviation infrastructure standards.
  • Provide routine interface status updates and risk notifications to Project Director and leadership teams.
  • Keep an updated interface register documenting risks, dependencies, and required actions.
  • Support integration efforts between design, procurement, and construction teams, assuring cross-disciplinary coherence.
  • Encourage a collaborative working atmosphere across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Have over 20 years of experience in interface management, stakeholder coordination, or project management within large-scale aviation or infrastructure projects.
  • Prior experience collaborating with airport authorities, regulatory bodies, or major consultancy firms is highly advantageous.
  • Strong technical knowledge of aviation infrastructure, design workflows, construction interfaces, and multi-party liaison.
  • Proven ability to solve complex interface challenges in dynamic project settings.
