About the Role
Darmody Family McDonald's, an independently owned restaurant located in Broadway, County Wexford, Ireland, is seeking dedicated individuals to join as Department Managers. This role is perfect for candidates passionate about hospitality and leadership, interested in career advancement within a vibrant team environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, and friendly service consistently.
- Manage specific departments such as Guest Service, Kitchen, or People, depending on assignment.
- Oversee systems like Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, set department goals, delegate tasks, and report outcomes.
- Guest Service Managers ensure an excellent customer experience, monitor sales promotions, train service staff, and organize service areas including Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive-Thru.
- Kitchen Managers ensure high-quality, safe, and rapid food delivery, control food costs, and train kitchen staff on production procedures and menu updates.
- People Managers handle recruiting, training, scheduling, and employee motivation to meet sales and profitability targets.
Requirements
- Preferred prior management experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality industries.
- Positive team attitude with flexibility and enthusiasm for a fast-paced environment.
- Must be 18 years or older.
