Role Overview
The Dentist will be responsible for providing excellent clinical care in an onsite, full-time capacity. Duties include conducting oral examinations, diagnosing dental conditions, formulating treatment plans, and performing general, restorative, and cosmetic procedures such as fillings, crowns, dentures, implants, and veneers. Delivering preventive care and ensuring patient comfort and safety during all treatments is essential. Additional responsibilities include educating patients on oral hygiene, maintaining detailed clinical records, collaborating closely with dental assistants and administrative staff, and complying with all regulatory and practice protocols.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Current Australian dental board registration or eligibility to register as a Dentist.
- Experience in general dental procedures including examination, diagnosis, and routine restorative treatments.
- Skills or strong interest in cosmetic and restorative techniques like crowns, veneers, dentures, and implants.
- A patient-focused approach with excellent communication and empathy to clearly convey treatment options.
- Ability to cooperate effectively within a dental team and maintain professional relationships.
- High attention to clinical detail and thorough adherence to infection control and safety standards.
- Capability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment balancing quality and schedule.
- Motivation for continuous professional growth and keeping up-to-date with dental advancements.
- Previous experience in private or community dental practice is advantageous but not required.
Compensation
The position offers an annual salary between AUD 80,000 and AUD 90,000.
