Demand and Supply Planning Assistant Manager

Role Overview

This position manages and coordinates the demand and supply planning processes to ensure all activities fit within the defined organizational framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for export markets, including IMS and shipment levels, ensuring comprehensive input consolidation following company standards and deadlines.
• Maintain and update the export demand planning tool by integrating data from regional sales, distributors, marketing, and supply chain departments to align all stakeholders.
• Collect and consolidate actual export sales on a monthly basis to develop reliable rolling forecasts.
• Manage an 18-month rolling export demand forecast updated monthly and uploaded into SAP adhering strictly to corporate requirements.
• Implement early warning mechanisms to detect forecast discrepancies and market risks, facilitating prompt corrective measures.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, finance, and supply chain teams to reflect promotions, pricing modifications, trade activities, and market trends impacting export demand.
• Apply advanced data modeling and statistical approaches to enhance forecast precision and conduct scenario planning for exports.
• Maintain a data library of historical performance insights and share relevant information with stakeholders as needed.
• Oversee SGNA daily sales and provide Delivery Notes (DNs) to the third-party logistics provider (3PL) to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Regularly monitor and reconcile stock for SGNA and US third-party logistics on a monthly basis to guarantee inventory accuracy.
• Prepare weekly supply planning reports based on current system orders, ensuring data matches forecasted demand.
• Track monthly export supply orders for compliance with cut-off times and disseminate performance reports to stakeholders.
• Lead and drive the export demand planning function to effectively meet departmental objectives by setting targets and managing performance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational qualification.
• Between 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Practical experience using SAP ERP software or comparable systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Resourcefulness and proactive approach to problem solving.
• Ability to operate independently.
• Strong orientation toward customer service.
