Delivery Driver

Overview

Join a leading pizza delivery company as a Delivery Driver, where teamwork and exceptional service are valued. We are expanding and seeking Delivery Experts to join our team immediately with flexible shift options including short or long shifts, part-time or full-time schedules.

Compensation

Delivery drivers generally earn over $20 per hour through a combination of wages, tips, and mileage reimbursement. Mileage reimbursements and tips are paid daily, while hourly wages are paid biweekly.

Job Details

Drivers may use their own vehicle, receiving mileage reimbursement that adjusts to cover fuel and vehicle expenses, or opt to use company cars if eligible (minimum age 21, clean driving record, and two years of driving history). Safe driving is mandatory.

Advanced technology equips drivers to ensure efficient and safe deliveries, leading to higher earnings.

Flexible Scheduling

Drivers have the freedom to select shifts that fit their lifestyle whether looking for part-time or full-time work.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record subject to Motor Vehicle Report review, and ability to pass background checks.
• Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance if not using company car.
• Strong navigation abilities to read maps and locate delivery addresses within assigned areas.
• Ability to navigate variable terrains including multi-level buildings.
• Capability to follow directions, handle repetitive tasks, work independently and collaboratively, perform under pressure, and comply with quality standards.
• Excellent customer service skills and sound judgment.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Exposure to changing weather, temperature fluctuations, food odors, and tight workspaces.
• Handling hot equipment and potential encounters with sharp objects and mechanical parts.
• Physical activities including walking, carrying, climbing stairs (sometimes 5+ flights), safe driving within delivery areas, stooping, bending, reaching, and frequent hand use for pizza preparation and handling.
• Essential senses used include talking, hearing, depth perception, vision (near, mid-range, far, and night).
