Job Overview
We are looking for a diligent and well-organized Data Entry Specialist to join our Houston, Texas team. This role involves precise input and maintenance of vital company data to support the accuracy of our information systems and overall operational efficiency.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Precisely enter and update diverse data sets such as customer details, production orders, and inventory into company systems.
- Examine and validate data for accuracy and completeness, promptly addressing any inconsistencies.
- Produce routine reports and summaries from databases for management and departmental use.
- Work alongside production, sales, and logistics teams to maintain smooth information flow and data integrity throughout the organization.
- Safeguard confidential and sensitive information pertaining to both the company and clients.
- Support the creation and adoption of enhanced data collection and management methods.
- Carry out additional administrative tasks to aid the data management processes as needed.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Demonstrated experience in data entry roles or similar administrative positions.
- High typing speed combined with exceptional accuracy.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail paired with superior organizational capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and efficiently manage time to achieve deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with ERP or CRM software is a significant advantage.
- Background or familiarity with manufacturing or industrial environments is preferred.
