Main Responsibilities

  • Create a digital-first reporting framework by defining standard metrics, data standards, and consistent visualizations, including reusable dataflows and certified datasets.

  • Ensure compliance with data governance by enforcing role-based access, least privilege, and data protection standards.
  • Advise on the design and rollout of new datasets and electronic systems.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated expertise in creating, modelling, and publishing Power BI solutions, including proficiency with DAX, Power Query, data modelling, row-level security, and refresh procedures.
  • Hands-on experience integrating Microsoft 365 applications and Power Platform tools like Power Automate and Dataverse.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 and Business Central data schemas, connectors, and APIs.
  • Strong SQL capabilities and ease in handling relational databases.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, capable of translating inquiries into analytical insights that guide decision-making.

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Experience with Azure data services such as Data Factory, Synapse/SQL, Azure Functions, or Logic Apps.
  • Knowledge of programming languages including Python, R, and JavaScript.
  • Expertise in data governance practices including cataloguing, lineage, metadata standards, and GDPR compliance.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and version control systems.
  • Experience developing user support materials such as playbooks, instructional videos, and training presentations.
  • Strong skills in data visualization crafted for accessibility, colour safety, and storytelling for non-technical audiences.

Employee Benefits

  • Opportunities for continuous learning through funded study and diverse job responsibilities.
  • Healthcare assistance covering dental treatments, eyewear, and contact lenses.
  • Discount offers on shopping and entertainment via partnerships such as Blue Light Card and Costco.
  • Childcare discounts at Puddle Lane children’s nursery.
  • Access to confidential counselling services prioritising employee wellbeing.
  • Additional wellbeing perks including Cycle to Work schemes and generous holiday allowances.
