Data Analyst (Python, PL/SQL) - Remote Contract

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst proficient in Python and PL/SQL to join a remote contract opportunity. The role involves analyzing extensive datasets to extract meaningful business insights, writing advanced queries, automating data processes, and producing clear data visualizations and reports for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate large volumes of data to identify trends, patterns, and provide actionable insights that align with business goals.
• Create, enhance, and sustain sophisticated PL/SQL queries to extract and handle data effectively.
• Implement Python scripts for automation, data cleansing, and comprehensive statistical analysis.
• Design detailed data reports and visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Work closely with various remote teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored data-driven solutions.
• Maintain data accuracy and consistency across diverse data sources and systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Data Analyst or in a related analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming for data manipulation and automation.
• Expert-level knowledge of PL/SQL for data extraction, transformation, and management.
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to explain intricate data insights to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
