Role Overview

The Player Success Organization (PSO) focuses on enhancing player engagement and maintaining strong relationships with our VIP players. As a Data Analyst within this team, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to identify important data needs and deliver insights through data modeling, detailed reporting, and analysis. Coordination with Game and Central Analytics teams ensures standardized approaches and alignment across functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to uncover opportunities for improving player experience, particularly in VIP outreach strategies by identifying statistical relationships among campaigns, sweepstakes, and outreach initiatives across different regions, demographics, and channels.
• Create compelling data visualizations capturing metrics on VIP engagement, player support, and campaign performance.
• Support the Player Support team by pinpointing ways to enhance customer satisfaction while managing internal costs efficiently.
• Work with game analysts and product managers to assess the effects of PSO campaigns on overall game performance and explore initiatives to boost VIP engagement through both in-game and external synergies.
• Provide ad hoc analytical assistance to account managers and senior leaders in assessing non-traditional campaigns, partnerships, and sweepstakes effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proficient in SQL and intermediate Python programming skills.
• Experience with at least one data visualization tool such as Tableau.
• Background in CRM or sales analytics is advantageous.
• Strong foundations in data mining, optimization, experimental design, computational analytics, and reporting.
• Capability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in data analytics or data science roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative disciplines; advanced degrees (Master’s, MBA, or PhD) are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this role varies by location:

• In Illinois: Expected salary range is $77,100 to $114,120 annually.
• In Ontario: Expected salary range is CAD 71,400 to CAD 105,660 annually.

The total compensation package may include bonuses, equity awards, eligibility for a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Program.
