Job Summary
Aaratech Inc. is looking for a skilled Healthcare Data Analyst to aid in data-informed decision-making within healthcare operations. The chosen candidate will analyze various healthcare datasets, extract actionable insights, and create reports that enhance patient care, operational effectiveness, and overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and evaluate healthcare data from a range of different sources.
- Detect patterns and trends in patient information, claims, and operational metrics.
- Design and maintain dashboards and comprehensive reports using BI tools.
- Coordinate with clinical teams, business units, and IT departments to back data-driven strategies.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations ensuring data precision and security.
- Formulate reports and communicate insights clearly to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Data Science, IT, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of two years' experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within the healthcare domain.
- Proficient in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and statistical data analysis methods.
- Hands-on experience working with healthcare datasets and generating reports.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards including HL7 and FHIR.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Basic programming knowledge in Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Relevant certifications like Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist, or Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate are advantageous.
