Role Overview

Join Siemens Energy as a Data Analyst supporting the Process Digitalization Team for Grid Technologies. Collaborate with over 30 global factories to advance the Factory Data Cloud with secure, AI-driven, centralized data governance. Convert scalable manufacturing data into meaningful insights that empower data-informed decision-making and foster sustainable growth.

Core Responsibilities

Perform detailed analyses on manufacturing and operational data to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and provide avenues for process enhancement within the business segment.
Assist in defining, creating, and continuously improving data structures and products focusing on high data quality, consistency, and usability.
Work closely with data engineering and cloud architecture groups to align analytical needs with data ingestion, modeling, and platform functionalities.
Create and maintain dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), reports, and lightweight analytical tools to promote transparency and informed business decisions.
Regularly evaluate and improve analytical workflows, metrics, and reporting procedures to optimize operational efficiency and create business value.
Deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations supporting corporate initiatives, operational excellence, and adoption of data-driven methodologies.

Your Profile

Academic credentials in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines, complemented by practical experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or process optimization.
Proficient in advanced analytical reasoning with hands-on usage of tools including Snowflake, dbt Cloud, Alteryx, Python, and SQL.
Expert in dashboard creation, KPI development, reporting frameworks, and visualizations using top BI platforms such as Power BI and Tableau.
Robust knowledge of cloud-based data systems especially Snowflake and AWS, and familiarity with modern data stack principles such as ELT workflows and data modeling.
Adept at converting complex datasets into clear, concise, and compelling insights that guide decision-making at all organizational levels.
Fluent business English communication, strong stakeholder engagement skills, with an international outlook and readiness to travel globally.
