Role Overview

Main Responsibilities

• Continuously observe security events, notifications, and incidents across corporate networks and systems.
• Handle security cases and tickets from initiation through closure.
• Examine log data from SIEM solutions, security monitoring tools, network devices, and endpoint security technologies.
• Perform investigations and triage of security alerts to detect malicious activities and understand attack methodologies.
• Adhere to defined incident response and escalation protocols to control and reduce security threats.
• Document all incidents precisely, including indicators of compromise, evidence gathered, and findings from investigations.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• A degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, or a similar relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least three years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, particularly in operations, threat analysis, or security monitoring roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in handling security incidents and working within a Security Operations Centre (SOC) environment.
• A solid understanding of incident response frameworks, event triaging, and escalation workflows.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, authentication methods, and typical attack vectors.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
