Key Responsibilities

• Complete import and export declarations and oversee customs entries throughout the entire process.
• Apply precise tariff classifications, valuations, and relevant Australian customs, quarantine, and regulatory compliance.
• Thoroughly review, interpret, and verify shipping and customs documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Deliver value-added consultancy such as duty reduction strategies, tariff concessions, and advice on duty drawback.
• Coordinate with clients, freight and transport teams, and government agencies to support operations.
• Manage multiple shipments and adhere to tight deadlines within a dynamic work environment.

Required Skills and Experience

• Mandatory possession of a valid Licensed Customs Broker certification.
• Demonstrated history in handling customs clearance for imports and exports.
• In-depth familiarity with Australian customs laws, tariff classification, and product valuation.
• Keen eye for detail coupled with a focus on accuracy.
• Effective verbal and written communication capabilities.
