Customer Service Operator

About the Position

Knauf Australia is seeking a Customer Service Operator located in or near Gosford, NSW. This role requires full-time onsite presence at the Gosford store from Monday to Friday, 6 am to 3 pm. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support and customer service across multiple communication channels including face-to-face interaction, telephone, and email.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers personally, via phone, and email to address inquiries and support needs.
• Execute various administrative functions such as data entry and managing correspondence.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
• Document and report any customer grievances related to products or services to the Trade Store Manager following Knauf’s complaint protocols.
• Assist in inventory audits and stock counts to maintain precise stock records.
• Perform general warehouse and housekeeping activities as required.

Candidate Profile

• Resides in or near Gosford, New South Wales.
• Demonstrated strong administrative experience, preferably in customer service or administrative roles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with SAP experience considered a significant advantage.
• Holds or is willing to obtain a forklift license.
• Possesses the physical capability and readiness to perform daily manual handling tasks.
• Must have full and unrestricted Australian work rights; visa sponsorship is not provided.
• Willingness to complete a valid police check and pass a pre-employment medical assessment.
