Position Overview

The Custodian is responsible for upholding cleanliness, safety, and order within the warehouse facility. This includes executing custodial duties specifically related to warehouse areas, such as cleaning workspaces, handling waste and recyclables, and operating cleaning machinery. This role excludes cleaning restrooms or office areas.

Work Schedule

• Third Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM
• Third Shift: Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position is $24.36.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage ride-on electric walkies (double walkie) when required.
• Operate sit-down floor scrubbers ("Zamboni" style) to maintain clean warehouse floors.
• Promptly address and clean product spills safely.
• Dispose of cardboard, plastic wrap, and garbage in designated compactors.
• Keep warehouse work areas clean and orderly.
• Perform custodial duties within temperature-controlled environments, including coolers (around 4°C) and freezers (-20°C).
• Adhere strictly to company safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Capability to work effectively in cold environments such as coolers and freezers.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse cleaning equipment; required training will be provided.
• Physical capability to lift, push, pull, and perform various custodial tasks during shifts.
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work overnight shifts as scheduled.
• Use of appropriate cooler/freezer protective gear, which will be supplied by the company.
