Role Overview
The Crew Duty Controller is crucial in ensuring smooth global flight and cabin crew operations by managing crew resource allocation efficiently. The role focuses on overseeing crew rosters, readiness, and compliance with regulatory requirements, while maintaining safe and efficient airline operations within a continuously changing 24/7 environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage crew schedules, ensuring readiness and regulatory adherence including certifications and qualifications.
- Ensure operations comply with Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL), fatigue risk management, and relevant GACA, IATA, and ICAO standards.
- Handle operational disruptions by responding to flight and crew incidents swiftly and coordinating resolutions that balance operational goals, crew welfare, and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively and manage stakeholders across the Operations Control Centre, including internal departments, airport teams, external partners, and regulators.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts by analyzing operational data and supporting strategic initiatives to build a world-class crew operation aligned with Riyadh Air's vision.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a relevant degree with a minimum of 4 years experience in crew control, scheduling, or planning, preferably including supervisory duties.
- Demonstrate high competency in handling disruptions and making informed decisions under pressure using data-driven approaches.
- Have a solid grasp of airline operational processes and aviation regulatory frameworks.
- Additional certifications related to aviation operations or crew resource management will be an advantage.
