Credit Analyst

About the Role

The Credit Analyst will carry out comprehensive credit evaluations for the Bank’s borrowing clients within Corporate Banking sectors including Aviation, Shipping, Financial Institutions, Middle Market, and General Corporates in Singapore.

Key Duties

• Assess historical and current financial statements and performance metrics.
• Develop financial models and forecasts grounded in realistic assumptions.
• Compile detailed reports and projections supporting credit decision processes.
• Collaborate closely with Corporate Banking colleagues to validate financial forecasts and data.
• Conduct detailed industry and sector analyses.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of at least a bachelor's degree in Business or a related domain.
• At least five years of relevant credit analysis experience in Banking or Audit sectors.
• Strong grasp of accounting concepts combined with proficient financial analysis capabilities.
• Exceptional presentation skills with aptitude to influence stakeholders, manage multiple tasks, and meet stringent deadlines.
• Fluent communication in both spoken and written English and Chinese to engage with Chinese-speaking headquarters.
• Applicants with Middle Market Financial Institutions or General Corporate banking experience are preferred.
• Recent graduates possessing internship experience in credit analysis are encouraged to apply.
