This fast-moving role demands agility, adaptability, and independent workload management. While there is guidance from the creative team, we value original ideas and encourage you to proactively contribute concepts and improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop short-form video advertisements and static creatives optimized for Meta ad placements such as Reels, Stories, and Feeds.
  • Create visual content and graphics as needed for the website.
  • Produce multiple creative variants to support A/B testing and campaign scaling efforts.
  • Quickly refine and adjust assets based on performance analytics and stakeholder input.
  • Upload and oversee final asset management within the Meta ad platform.

Technical and Interpersonal Requirements

  • Proficiency with CapCut, Canva, or comparable video editing programs.
  • Strong visual storytelling capability, adept at capturing attention immediately.
  • Understanding of advertising creative specifications, including aspect ratios and platform-specific considerations.
  • Active engagement with social media trends, anticipating shifts ahead of popularity peaks.
  • Data-informed approach to creatively optimizing ad performance.
  • Portfolio or reel demonstrating relevant advertising or content production experience.
  • Excellent task management skills, capable of handling concurrent briefs and meeting deadlines independently.
  • Innovative mindset with willingness to challenge ideas and propose new concepts.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment requiring agility when shifting priorities.
  • Open to constructive feedback and committed to self-improvement without ego.

Preferred Skills

  • Comfort learning and utilizing new creative and editing software tools.
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects.
  • Basic knowledge of paid social media metrics such as CTR, CPM, ROAS.
  • Interest in direct-to-consumer brands, eCommerce, DIY, or home and lifestyle sectors.
  • Modest and consistent achiever who prioritizes continuous learning and producing quality work.

Additional Details

  • Role based in Adelaide, South Australia.
  • Initial contract duration of 3 months, with the chance to extend.
  • Reporting lines include the Digital Marketing Team, Lead Experience Strategist, and Chief Experience Officer.
