Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a Contracts Administrator to manage and oversee construction contracts throughout the entire project lifecycle based in Doha, Qatar. This full-time role involves preparing, reviewing, and maintaining contractual documentation, ensuring compliance with contract terms and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer construction contracts from initiation to completion.
- Prepare, review, and maintain contractual documents and formal correspondence.
- Track contractual obligations including notices, claims, variations, and extensions of time.
- Coordinate effectively with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and clients regarding contractual issues.
- Keep comprehensive records of contracts, modifications, claims, and related documents.
- Support the preparation of contractual submissions, reports, and commercial paperwork.
- Ensure all contract terms and project requirements are met according to company policies.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, MRICS accreditation, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in contracts administration, preferably on construction or infrastructure projects.
- Solid understanding of construction contracts, contract variations, claims, and contractual procedures.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, coordination, documentation, and organizational competencies.
- Preference given to candidates currently residing in Qatar.
